Good Food Awards 2015- Submissions Due

The Good Food Awards has launched it’s sixth year of honoring producers who make food that is delicious, tied to communities and cultural traditions, and respectful of the environment. Last year, they honored 12 honey producers, from New York, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Dakota, Arizona and more, in their first year of honey judging. They’re reaching out to encourage producers whose methods and product are respected to enter their honey in this year’s awards.

Beginning Monday, July 6 and ending July 31, they invite entries in thirteen categories: beer, charcuterie, cheese, chocolate, cider, coffee, confections, honey, oil, pantry, pickles, preserves and spirits, each of which must adhere to standards of ingredient sourcing and production methods.

If you know of beekeepers — or preservers, brewers, roasters, distillers and other food producers — who push their industries toward craftsmanship and sustainability, while enhancing our agricultural landscape and building strong local communities, please enter! Past winners and entry criteria for each category are available on our website.
