Chapter on African Bees

Annual Dues are $30.00 per year (January 1st through December 31st)

By joining NMBKA you are supporting the work of beekeepers and promoting best practices in beekeeping.  NMBKA serves New Mexico beekeepers in the following areas:

  • To promote Beekeeping and bee products in the state and abroad
  • To help maintain sustainable local Beekeeping Organizations
  • To provide advocacy and representation on issues of importance to beekeepers
  • To improve relations between Beekeepers, Government Agencies and the Public
  • To promote and enhance beekeeping research
  • Quarterly newsletter “Bee Friendly” providing industry news, updates and events
  • Groups to provide network opportunity with other beekeepers
  • Discounted events and conferences at little or no cost to members
  • Voting rights at our annual meeting
  • NMBKA Certified Beekeeper Program
  • Speakers Bureau provides educational speakers to local organizations and the public

Membership is open to anyone interested in bees and beekeeping. You do not need to own a hive to join. Being a member of the New Mexico Beekeepers Association (NMBKA) provides many benefits to beekeepers and supporters of beekeeping.
